Benefits of Becoming a Member

The Sidney Shooting Park does not require that participants purchase a membership.  However, there are many benefits to becoming a member:

  • Easy Access

Upon completion of a short range orientation session, Members receive the combination to the gate, the clubhouse, and the Trap houses.  As such, a Member may use the Park at any time, even during non-public hours. Please limit your usage to daylight hours since there are houses nearby.

  • Discounts

Members receive a $1 discount off of practice rounds of Trap and Skeet ($5 per 25 targets instead of $6 for Non-Members).

Also, the $12 per season league fee is waived for Members.

  • Archery

Members have easy access to the Archery course and practice field for FREE as a benefit of their membership!

  • Handgun Range

Members have easy access* to the Handgun Range for FREE as a benefit of their membership! Paper targets are available in the clubhouse.

*Note that the handgun range will be closed when certain events are taking place, such as CCW range qualifications, youth trap shoots, ATA shoots, or Pistol Matches. These closures are listed on our Handgun page.

All ages are welcome!

  • Adults are age 19 and over.

  • Youth are age 18 and under.


Membership Fees

Annual Memberships (per calendar year):  

  • Individual - $50 per year

  • Family - $75 per year

  • Lifetime Memberships:  $500

Family Memberships

Please note that SSP defines a “family” as either couples (married or significant others) or parents with dependent children living under the same roof. We know there can be exceptions to this rule, and we are willing to acknowledge them if you let us know your situation.

In general, if your children are adults with their own households, they should purchase their own Individual or Family memberships.

Lifetime Memberships

The Sidney Shooting Park offers a lifetime membership for $500.  In addition to the benefits a Member receives such as discounts on target fees for practice rounds and waived league fees, the Lifetime Member also receives a shooting vest embroidered with their name and "Lifetime Member".
