As of December 1, 2005 the Sidney Shooting Park has venues for sporting clays and target archery. During the winter months, SSP will be open for both clays and archery on the first Sunday afternoon of every month from noon until 4PM. A round of sporting clays costs $15 for non-members and $14 for SSP members with the course consisting of 10 stations, five targets at each. Non-members may use the archery range for a daily use fee of $5 and the archery range is free to SSP members.

The long-term vision for Sidney Shooting Park includes a five-station trap range, a sight-in rifle range and a handgun practice range. Ground has been broken on the trap facility, and the rifle/handgun venues are currently involved in a feasibility study.
